Young Masters, Euro Chess tournament Enschede, the Netherlands
Each year, the first week of August, the North of the Netherlands is hosting the Open Dutch Youth Championships. Hundreds of children from all over the world come together to compete each other.
Lisa is invited to play the Young Masters group, alongside 9 other strong Dutch youth players and 8 foreign titled youngsters. Topseat is Sergei Zhigalko (2621) and the youngest Grandmaster Anish Giri is playing as well.
The Grote Kerk (Big Church) of Enschede is the playing venue for the 1st three rounds of the Young Masters group. Tomorrow starts the Open Tournament, and the Young Masters will re-allocate to the sportscenter of the Universtity of Twente. Surrounded by so many players, it will definitely be a different scene.

Lisa's summer of 2009
The summer started in Tarragona, Spain, with a 3-day training. GM Arthur Kogan taught the Dutch youth talents Robin van Kampen, Benjamin Bok, Arthur Pijpers, Donna & Lisa Schut. After that, they all played in the Andorra 2009 tournament.
Lisa won for the first time from a GM in the 4th round.: GM Narcisso Dublan (2553) and finished with 5.5 out of 9, with a tpr of 2373
